A Land in Colour

Landscape

Every square inch of our planet consists of a landscape. Some are sweeping vistas, while others may consist of a patch of blooms or a view through a forest. All around the world we each wake up to a different landscape. Landscape Photography gives me an opportunity to share our space with others. Please enjoy my work.

Bluebells in Foggy Morning

Bluebells in Foggy Morning

A 4am start for me to drive over to Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire. I had already scouted this location two weeks prior so I knew exactly where I needed to be and what direction the sun would rise in the woods. The bluebells only last a couple of weeks so timing is a little bit tricky with bad weather.

After nearly an hour of shooting with the golden glow of the sunrise, the air is slightly warming and the fog starts to blanket the woods giving the colourful forest floor a diffused light.

I love how the mist rising almost gives the feeling of monochrome in the trees.
